care to the one in need.

Christian Scientists strive to "love thy neighbor as thyself." Volunteers work with inmates towards defending the innocent, or healing and reformation, to prove that Christ, Truth:
• brings good news to the afflicted;
• binds up the brokenhearted,
• proclaims liberty to captives and
freedom to prisoners; .... See Isaiah 61
If disaster strikes a community, it is natural and loving to ask what can be done to support our neighbors — whether they are down the street or across the globe.
